Report - Hepatitis Management: State of the Art
TOP NEWS HEADLINES

In a study published online in the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases, a team of researchers at Japan’s National Center for Global Health and Medicine have observed that antiretroviral therapy that includes lamivudine or tenofovir also appears to provide a prophylactic effect against infection with the hepatitis B virus (HBV).

(New York, New York) As awareness of the risks of infection with the hepatitis C virus (HCV) has grown, so too have the current and upcoming treatment options. Practitioners who manage HCV-infected patients can sharpen their skills in disease assessment and development of treatment strategies, along with awareness of investigational treatments, at the "Hepatitis C Management: State of the Art" conference, on May 9-10, 2013. Faculty from the frontiers of research and patient care will review and discuss the natural history of HCV disease and the most up-to-date approaches to diagnosis and management of HCV-infected patients. CME credit will be provided by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of the Yeshiva University. To learn more, please visit...
